Optimum template bugs and help

In the optimum template, i made a blog layout, and set it to horizontal display, with 4 columns, but only 3 articles show, as if there are only 3 columns. Then , the articles that were supposed to be in the 4th column line up at the bottom of the blog, A screen shot if this is seen in screenshot.jpg. Also, how do i decrease the space between the slide show and the main body, and the distance between the title of the page, and the content in it.
