Now, we wanted to know what our customers think about Acajoom and what they can suggest for the improvement of the product and so, we conducted an interview with some of the Acajoom users.

Here is what Betty Cortes, an Acajoom user for a year, says about the product:
1. What can you say about the Acajoom?
Acajoom is a very cost-effective solution for email marketing and mass communication. Compared to Constant Contact and other monthly email solutions which are not fully integrated into your website and have list limits and subscription pricing tiers. The advantage of Acajoom is that clients don't have two separate sites to login and keep track of. Acajoom is truly part of their Joomla website. The fact that Web Content Managers don't have to re-write or even (cut and paste) content from their Joomla site into their email system is a huge benefit.
2. How long have you been using the component?
Started with the free version of Acajoom in Nov of 2008, client and I loved it so we bought the pro version and Acajoom Pro is now part of all my Joomla web proposals. This helps me as a web developer/ designer justify additional hosting fees since the client is able to drop any monthly newsletter software.
3.What features (of Acajoom) do you like the most?
I would like to be able to create a menu link to the single published newsletter.
With a menu item built, I can add a self-subscription module to the page. (I know how to work around this but it's not "Best Practices" to create an absolute URL for an internal link.)
Database clean-up utilities...
1. Removed duplicate emails
2. Auto remove undeliverable address
4.What are your feature requests for the component?
Front-end sending option so we don't have to give Joomla back-end access to users in order to send the emails.
Option for editing previously sent (or archived/published emails) This would allow clients to fix any typos or (God forbid) broken links which were emailed out. There is no way to take back the mass email but at least we could fix the published version of the email on their website.
