Things are moving fast at Joobi. In this issue you will find:

1. jCommunity new release, more power to the user!

1. jCommunity new release, more power to the user!

This release marks a big milestone for jCommunity stability and maturity. We have corrected all reported bugs. So now we are focusing on all the features requests.

One popular request has been the possibility to give more control to the user to manage his privacy. Now the user can choose:

• in Plus if his profile should be public or private.
• in PRO the user has even more choices 5 to be exact, to define who can see his/her profile:
  • Private
  • My Connections
  • My Groups
  • My Connections OR my Groups
  • Same Groups
  • Public

The webmaster has also the possibility to turn on or off some of those possibilities.

2. jTickets final release, why use a forum when you can have a ticket system?

jTickets Beta have been really successful, we only had some issues on default values at install. It is now fixed and we released it in full version. We have already some new features in the making and I will keep you updated on the progress.

3. jStore is now in Beta

I personally use it and love it. I used Virtuemart before and although jStore does not have all the features Virtuemart has ( for example there is no shipping module only electronic products ), I find jStore much more efficient in the day to day use , in searching for orders managing cancellation etc... I might be biased in my own evaluation so I can only recommend you to try it for yourself. When you do so please send us feedback so that we can develop the features you want.
