  • The license is only valid to 1 URL—means you cannot install our products to more than one website. Moving a license is free. Your previous license will be deactivated and will be transferred to the new site.
  • The license allows you to use the purchased product without a time limitation.
  • The license is transferable from one website to the other.
  • The license can be use in the development environment. You need to contact us before you intend to move in your production site so we can provide you a new license.

  4. Update renewal policy:

  • Commercial users will receive at no additional cost all bug-fix updates and all further versions released within one year of the date of purchase.
  • Upgrades after the one-year period will be available at a reduced rate (you only need to pay 20% of the total original product price at the moment of upgrade).

  If you have purchased licenses on December 2012 or earlier, you are eligible for a free lifetime update.

  5. Understanding Joobi Software Licensing

  Joobi server does not check in real-time your software licenses. There are only two cases that we check for licensing.

  • When a demo or temporary license expires.
  • When you check for available updates and by support.

  The software is not dependent on our server to function properly once it is installed and the license is validated in your website. This means that if something serious happen to us or the company, your business will still be up and running.

  • You can only install to one website URL. Joobi uses URL licensing which means, once the token is validated to one website URL, it is no longer usable. You can always transfer a license— free. Your previous license will be deactivated and will be transferred to the new website URL.

  • If you are confused about Joobi Product features, we may offer links to relevant documentation or video tutorials to that will help assist you in understanding how a feature operates.
  • If you discover a bug in any Joobi Product, please report it using the ticket system right away, so that we can work on fixing it in a timely fashion.
  • We are unable to assist in implementing customization or modifications to our products. We can however point you in the right direction or we may be able to advise if you will need to hire a freelancer for assistance.

  We are unable to support the following items:

  • We are unable to provide training on Joomla basics.
  • We will not provide support and/or troubleshooting assistance for any Joobi Products that has been integrated using a 3rd party component or plugin.
  • We do not have the expertise to provide server setup, installation of required libraries or applications in order to have a functional Joomla environment. If you require set up support you will need to hire a freelancer to assist.
  • If you discover a bug, or an inconsistent behavior with a Joobi Product, it is recommended that you disable plugins, especially "system plugins" unless it is a Joomla default plugin. If a problem persists, after disabling all other plugins we are happy to assist.
  • We can not offer support, installation, troubleshooting, or administration of Joomla components and plugins.
  • We are unable to offer telephone support. Our support is handled through live chat, the ticketing system and our community forum.
  • We can not support Joomla template clashes due to third party overrides, we recommend to contact the template developer.
  • We can not support migration issues from localhost to production site.
  • We are unable to support any Joobi products older than 6 months  old.
  • We do not support custom design requests related to the look and feel of your template. You will need to hire a freelancer if you are unable to implement the desired changes yourself. We recommend that you check our Solution Partners, or another freelancing web sites where Joomla experts offer their expertise through a project bidding system.
